New York Project, 2017, Building a Peace House

Horace Mann School in the Bronx, New York City, invited Amy Loewan to exhibit her peace installation at the school’s Fisher Gallery. Her exhibition “Weaving Peace” became the catalyst to inspire studio students (aged 13 to 17) to work collaboratively to build their own peace house. On a Fisher Gallery wall, students were encouraged to express their thoughts in words and in pictures about what they can do to make this world a better place.
