Building a Peace House
New York, 2017
Horace Mann School in the Bronx, New York City invited Amy Loewan to exhibit her peace installation at the school’s Gallery. Her exhibition “Weaving Peace” became the catalyst to inspire studio students (aged 13 to 17) to work collaboratively to build their own peace house. On the Gallery wall, students were encouraged to express their thoughts in words and in pictures about what they can do to make this world a better place.
